  • Gold paper bubbles

  • Flower wreaths = Awesome!
  • Collage trees and hot air balloons using old screen prints and book pages
  • Funky animal paste ups with stenciled beards and mo's
Screen Prints
  • Piano
  • Feathers
  • Shoes at weird angles
  • Bird cages
  • Bodies with the head drawn in
  • Animal Hats
  • Bodies and heads with hand painted masks
  • Holding lace fan
  • Holding umbrella
  • Man in suit holding flower
If having an exhibition with feathers as a prominant subject matter - create plaited wrist bands with feathers attached for those that come to the opening night.

Short Message Service

Short Message Service

The immediacy of modern telecommunications, including the internet, takes a certain amount of time, attention and anticipation away from correspondence. We are countering this by making a collection of origami stars, each has a written message contained within. These messages are our own until they are physically picked up, unraveled and read, a private communication that requires effort and intent to receive.

A thousand words

Have you heard of the white cube project? Check it out here! http://whitecubemildura.blogspot.com/ We will be apart of it and the artist walk in November.

'Sugar and Spice' is making one final stop in Robinvale before finally finding its way home. This exhibition has been travelling around thanks to the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery, who have offered to hang it in Kerang and Robinvale for us.

As pictures are worth a thousand words, I will fill this blog full of our latest works and drawings - which will combine into our next 2 exhibitions.

Collaborative found boards

These are some new artworks on boards that Moana found at her new house. We loved how most boards already had stains or markings on them - an added collaboration.

Size varies between 20-40cm in length/width.

What do you think?

Monkey Business

Palimpsest #8 - Tara Liddell and Moana Kidd 'Barrel of Monkeys'

A child’s ‘barrel of monkeys’ has set up an illegal counterfeiting ring to produce monopoly money. The installation of large replica monkeys with a scanner and printer producing sheets of uncut counterfeit money represents the ease with which a group of collaborators can get carried away with an idea that will ultimately lead to their downfall as a group.

Here are some photographs of the installation and paste ups around Mildura's arts area.

Sugar and Spice Workshop

13 participants
13 boards and many cans of spray paint later = MAGIC :)

It was a great day. The sun was shining and there was lots of creativity in the air

I can not sum up how much fun we had - hopefully the pictures will show it :)

Definately plan to do another one sometime in the not too distant future
